What is Aavegotchi?
Aavegotchi is a virtual world game (Metaverse) that combines NFT technology on the Ethereum blockchain and DeFi, allowing players to raise virtual pets and earn profits.
The Aavegotchi ecosystem offers a variety of features such as collateral staking, rarity farming, and game mechanics managed by a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO).
Key features of Aavegotchi
NFTs on Aavegotchi can be generated by staking supported ERC-20 tokens. The value and rarity of these NFTs is determined by 3 factors:
- Spirit Force: Each Aavegotchi NFT manages an escrow contract address containing Aave-backed ERC-20 collateral, called Spirit Force, or aToken. ATokens are derivative tokens with interest, created and burned upon deposit and redemption.
- Traits: Aavegotchis possesses many traits that affect its rarity, gaming performance, and accessories. Some traits are randomly generated at spawn, while others depend on the user’s interaction with Aavegotchis.
- Wearables: In addition to managing aToken, Aavegotchis can also manage ERC-721 or ERC-1155 NFTs, known as Wearables in the Aavegotchi ecosystem. Wearables can increase or decrease certain characteristics of Aavegotchi.

- Randomness: users can collect NFTs with different rarity.
- Interactivity: players can increase the value and rarity of NFTs by interacting more with NFTs through rarity farming.
Token GHST

- Staking: players stake GHST to earn REALM and increase network security.
